  • Can anyone tell me if my car should have one single wooden floor board or two pieces? The one that came with my car is clearly a PO cut from plywood job, but it is one piece and looks close to what might have been original. I need to order one of these and want to make sure I get the right one. 1957 T1 356A

    • Besides my floor board question I also need help w heater wires. The pics ar Stoddard don't look like what I remember. I had two wires that were bent back and had little retainer keeper thingies on them at the lever under the round adjustment knob at the center tunnel. The wires I thought had some sort of barrel connectors at the end if I recall. I am trying to order new wires for installation prior to final floor install but not sure where and what to order. Thx, Mark

I think this is the cable. Not sure about other parts like a over tube. Thought there was a thin black tube?

        • The floor boards a two piece. Contact Tom Perazzo he makes and sells a beautiful replacement floor board for A,B & C. What also sets his offering apart is a really cool hinged trap door in the face of the passenger side for easy access into that cavity to get at your Kilo of coke.

The wire you show is for the hood or decklid pull. The wire used for the heater is plain with no sleeve of any kind at the tips. Its just heavy gauge wire close to the size that's used to bale Hay.

          • I think that is the correct cable, but with 2 reqd. per Stoddard. The hood pull cable looks similar but has a longer barrel. My T6 is a single cable, v'd at the front, middle, with barrels at each end.

            • I have the old cables, which I can measure I guess, I just figured I could order new ones. Who knew it would be so challenging to find the right part. I will reach out to Tom. Is he on this site? Where can I find his contact info?

                • I don't see of any way to contact Tom Perazzo other than through ebay. Is that how he wants to be contacted?

                    • Thanks guys for the referral. Mark did reach out to me and we are in a friendly discussion.
One thing that did come up is that I don't have a pattern of the drivers side for an A.
If anyone has an original drivers board that I can measure or scan I would appreciate it.
If you send me an OEM measurable board, I will return it to you along with a set of new boards with access hatch.
                      Many thanks,
                      Tom

                        • Great progress there Mark! That photo takes me back when I was a kid watching my father work on the coupe I have now.

I wish I had an original example to send you Tom. When you have an A version available please let me know.

                            • I took pics of what I believe are the heater valve wires I removed from my car. Justin, they have a special end on them. They are not just wire alone. They also have a rubber tube they went through, though this may not be original?
