Wrapping up the hood alteration:
Flange detail added separately. This shape was far too complex for me to add that in one piece cleanly.

Hood re assembly:
New section all stitched in.

The end of the hood is that domed shape which is pretty rigid and doesn't really lend itself to relaxing much. I could beat the leading edge upward where...

The dye is just the right hue not too red with a little burnt orange tinge to it. Vintage Porsche look to it all the way.
