Unfortunately it was loaded up after 11PM so I didn't get any shots of it out in the sun.
Ran into another snag with the windshield frame so this unit was only mocked up in preparation for its next stop with someone who knows what their doing at CPR in Fallbrook Ca. But its first stop from here was to Autos international for some interior and canvas top adjustment.
All loaded up and ready for its ride to LA. My involvement officially ends here but I will be adding updates as its restoration journey continues.
My buddy was kind enough to gift me a perfect model to commemorate the occasion.
Back to metal work on that old coupe.
Thanks again for checking in with this project and for all the great words of encouragement along the way. More updates to follow.

First update since it left:
A couple of shots after its first stop over at Autos international for some upholstery.
Lower dash trim and eyebrow installed along with some carpet and door panels.
What a difference some upholstery makes.
Once Autos was finished with their part it went over to California Porsche Restorations to address the windshield frame issues.
Their man from the Quality control department (sign on the door) having a look at it.
More progress shots as I receive them.
Thanks for checking back here!

Well its been a few years, hard to believe its been that long already but I finally received an update on this car. Since the last time I saw it, it had already passed through a couple of new owners. Its current owner got in touch with me and just so happens to live in Henderson part time...Small world! I told him that I never saw the car fully complete and dressed and would love to see a shot or two of it. Several weeks later he did better than that by driving it over for a visit.
Initial inspection in the parking lot. Invited my buddy Bart who is also a huge Porsche enthusiast over as I thought he'd like to see it as well. That's him in the white T-shirt talking it over with 17's current custodian.
