    Gordon,

Looking very good, I like your gaps as well, I can understand how tbe flow of the paint from the gun could well be best going straight from one panel to another. Not so important with a non metallic but with your choice of paint I think you are right.

    Hope it goes well

Very nice offer you placed in the classified section Gordon. If you get rid of it What will you use for your next 356 project? Justin

Justin, it probably won,t be another 356. Maybe a different challenge?
        Thanks Gordon

This was a lot easier when it was on the rotisserie.

Those are some creative bumper stands you made there. Looking good.

I know what you mean Gordon; once its off the hoist you're either on your back or seated flat on the floor. You really seem to be moving right along. What do think, another few more weeks before final paint? It is looking great! Thanks for posting! Justin

                Thanks Mark and Justin.

It is a lovely color, even used on a late model, as seen here on this stock car with fresh paint.

Three coats clear with a little bit of dog hair and dirt, but not too bad.

WOW! You have been busy Gordon; you just blew right past me! Congratulations, the car looks fantastic!!! The reflection across the door gaps looks consistent; You did a really nice job here. No worries, a little dirt and dog hair gives it great character. You are officially into the milk and honey phase of a restoration and exactly where I wished I was! All the dirty grunt work is done and the rest is "instant gratification time" of installing a restored chrome trim piece or component and just standing back and admiring it. I am very jealous right now! Really looking forward to watching it go back together! Are you giving it the summer out in the sun to shink-up and do its thing before you cut and buff it? Its nice, congratulations again! Justin

That color is one of the very best 356 colors ever. Really shows the curves!!

                                Thank you all.
Justin, I am almost 70 and don't have luxury of
time on my side anymore. I will start cutting paint
in a couple of weeks. the new quality finishes are
more forgiving that way. Thanks again, Gordon
