    • Those are correct. Note that they are assymetrical..

      • Hi Richard, aren't they all asymmetrical to allow for the offset in the cylinder bank? It might be an optical illusion but the ducts in my picture appear to be a lot deeper compared to the ones shown on the B GT

        • OK, Let's dive even deeper into the weeds. Clearly, as noted, the shrouds are asymetrical to clear the cylinder bank offsets. The 1959 lightweights had the shrouds only on the decklid, and they carried the last 3 digits of the chassis number stamped on the flange flat. I find it very difficult to ascertain with any certainty that the B Carrera GT shroud is any different, although it could be, but it does appear to have the same flat edge that you can see riveted to the bottom of the shrouds in the color photos. Since the body shape is the same it might be the same or could have been upgraded. Considering the fact they had already been altered from 57-58 to the '59 design, it certainly possible they were still trying to improve airflow on the 1960 model. We would have to see one to be sure. The earlier clamshell shroud had a rubber edge seal on the upper section that pushed into a narrow retaining track on the base, I have one of these and will post a picture when I have access to it.
Lastly, I do not recall those unpainted metal grilles under the louvers in the other red GT photo. I am dubious about them being stock fitment...Of course there is a painted grill under the center outer grill...Photo attached is my car 106198, now in the Ingram Collection.

Here`s a pair I picked up some 20 years ago in Chicago. They were numbered, but I don`t have it. I sold them to a guy who needed them for his Coupe. First & only of those parts I`ve had.

ID:	85360 I had located the original engine for one of the Pre-A Carrera Speedsters, and was picking it up. Shipped it to Heinrichs. Guy threw in the orig tach and oil tank screen.

Those 692/3 Air filters were a gift! to me from the late Bill Doyle when he installed the engine in my car.
