In front of the Stuttgart factory a 356 Carrera pass on the baton to the new generation

We have seen some days ago that by November 6th 1960 Paul Ernst Strahle win team late Herbert Linge, won the Tour de Corse with a 356 BT 5 Carrera




Six months earlier this same Carrera plate number S KN 212 was driven by Huschke von Hanstein and Antonio Pucci in the 1960 Targa Florio

They were DNF

That photo is recent and taken at a restoration shop back east. I'll have to look up the name again.

Note the registration WN V 1 for the training car (race number 59T) and WN V 2 for the race car (59)

Fantastic picture, thanks for sharing!

I am hoping all of you might be able to help me trace some pictures of a '59 GT coupe in period. This GT, was originally red and appears to have had a white racing stripe on its front hood. I believe it was raced a couple of times in Europe by either Huschke or other good relations of the factory before being shipped with another '59 GT to Argentina (von Dory)
