Michael, very interesting. Please do send more via email. Car was built 1955. Knoch was early owner. Looks like came from Porsche Company Salzburg and was raced much before title transfers.

A year ago I asked this, and then there was a discussion about whether it was a 550RS or 550A, with my guess as a 550A - Steve had it down as 550-0017

Steve - do you know who #280 is?

The Linge test sheets and other material show this as "Inland" meaning Germany. Was initially sold by Gramling. Then, it seems, made its way to Austria.

Hello Everyone,

Steve Heinrichs has asked me to post in response to Andrew's question about the woman driving start nr. 280 in his post #25512.

We think the pilot of start nr. 280 is Suzy Dietrich possibly at 1957 Watkins Glen. However, the other pilot in start nr. 164 seems to be Mary Bishop. Do you have any other ideas?
