Sorry Steve. The car has the same 3 gills as 550-0088. I have never seen the car silver, only white. We have established that Leon Robertson also owned the car. This photo is of

Thomas is first listed driving a 550 on 1/11/1959
Roberson last raced in a 550 on 27/3/1960

I am discussing with the owner to see if he has any insights. If you can help, it would be much appreciated!

Steve Heinrichs has asked me to respond to questions about a pilot named Bob Thomas racing a 550 in East Coast races. Based on appearance it seemed likely to be 550-0088. See the photo at Racing Sports Cars website
