My friend Dave was able to source a rare NOS hirschmann centre mount antenna. Temporary window installed along with the windshield wiper mechanism to ensure that the mounting hole to be drilled and bottom mounting bolt wouldn’t interfere. Also wanted to ensure the wipers would have clearance. The antenna is then angled upwards to the roof close to parallel to the windshield. On the roof a holding clip will also be mounted to secure the top of the antenna. Love the look of this rare accessory. Here is a pic of Mr porsche with his early VW and a centre mount antenna.1960 356B T5 - under major resurrection.
