  • Probably the only area I got lucky on Foam Car. This is a Stoddard pan circa 2002.

    • Phil that looks like it landed in the real sweet spot.
Got everything all lined up. Checking to make sure the brake pedal is lined properly with tunnel for clutch cable and gas pedal to work Correctly. Really odd how the cables run thorough the tunnel and between the tunnel support brackets. Very tight. Still will have the take all of this out and back in a half dozen times but getting close. The floor has to much of a bend in it now so need to bend it back to a more level position.

      • Pedal cluster is a little roached and will need some loving on the base and refurbishment of the pedals.

          • I set aside the floor project for a bit and worked on rear engine tin. The heat shield piece fits well.

The hole sizes are 14 mm and 7 mm from left to right.

The best way to get perfectly circular holes is with these.

                Happy New Years!!

                • Thanks Scott, that's a helpful post. I also like your solution to the pedal cluster brace interference. I have an RD panel as well, so will likely have to replicate your approach. WHEN I actually get some time to work on my car...

                    • Justin thanks for your suggestions on the welding in floor then welding in tubes and then tunnel. I will go with this approach. So over the weekend hundreds of welds and a bit of grinding. The floor is now in and sits well. Ready to start welding in the tunnel tubes and pipes.

                            • Putting the interior cabin in the done column. Shifting to the front nose sections. Really disappointing to pull new panels that were fitted a year or so ago and have surface rust already. Just not working fast enough

                              • Need some help. I Want to weld on the brackets on the back of the gas tank panel on the interior flange that gets welded under the dash. Does anyone have a pic? I have some measurements I took but I must half been half asleep as my template does not have any reference points left or right from the edge. I believe The one bracket with a hole is for the parking brake. Are the other two identical brackets for the fuse box?
