  • stp, it is just a stock 356/912 muffler and I fabricated a couple of trombone looking
pipes instead of the standard S pipes and made a couple of tips out of stainless
U bends. Here are a couple of more shots of them. Thanks Gordon

    • Hi mate is your car lowered by any chance?

Your car looks great, reckon i'm going to follow suit and removed the bumper bars cause your car looks great without them!

      • Really slick exhaust configuration Gordon! I am really impressed with your skill level and vision. You really do it all, body, mechanical, upholstery and each phase so nicely executed! This car is really going to knock 'em dead at the show!! Justin

        • Thanks all, just rolled out the hides to see how many I had and was pleased with
color and count. (6 1/2 hides) a little overkill but i didn't want to run out in
the middle of the job. I always wanted a car with red leather interior.
          Thanks again, Gordon

                      • Hey Gordon, Just a quick FYI. While looking through your last set of photos I noticed that you have installed your fresh air vents ahead of your carpet:

This is one of those total PIA assembly sequences with these cars that has to be done in order if you want it correct.

To be right the carpet needs to be under the chrome locking housing for the vent assembly.

As you well know there is zero access to the inner jamb nut with the door installed. So before the vent assembly and door can be mounted for good the carpet must be in or at least partially in around the housing first. Keep up the great work you truly are a very talented car builder; you can do it all and very well I might add! Justin

I have no history on this car.
I know for sure every owner has messed with a little.
