This 550 is 550 10 race number 40 driven by Richard Von Frankenberg/Helm Glockler
As stated in the article below he was the quickest of the 4 off 550's but had to retire quickly for overheating problem

Before to attack 1955 some more 1954 pics I forgot to post yesterday
To start with 550 013 race number 47 winner of the 1.1 liter class after the race with a Cunningham who finished 2nd overall
Don't forget Zora Arkus Duntov was also a US guy
