                  • Before to attack the 1957 year, 2 last pics for 1956
Porsche were very proud of their performances at Le Mans and had a publicity poster printed in several languages here one in french and one in English

                      • 1957 was suppossed to be a great year for Porsche who was presenting its new 718RSK race car
Unfortunately everything went wrong and only one car out of the 6 off cars entered by Porsche kg or private teams did finish the race
Also 1957 is not a very documented year and I am quite poor in interesting pictures
                        Idem for videos

                        • As I said before I have not found any videos od the race neither one with Porsche
Just for fun a video taken from a Lotus 11 during the Le Mans revival 2008 edition in the 1957/1961 cars

                              • If you have watched the video you have seen that a Lotus 11 even pushed hard (so hard that he broke his engine) doesnot go quicker than a Porsche 550 RS
