After the races on the Bresse circuit all the pilots stopped at the Abbaye de Cluny inn Burgundy for the Lunch
The Cluny abbaye (Benedictin monastry) was built in the 9th century and was until, the French revolution the largest Roman church ever built
(reconstitution)
After the Revolution the monastry was partially destroyed and the stones sold
To day what could be saved has been rebuilt and used as a museum

To night after 2 racetrack races and five specials the race leaders in the VHC Vehicules Historiques de Competition (Historical Competition car) the leaders are
1st Jaguar E lightweight race number 201 Lajournade/Bouchet
2nd AC Cobra race number 202 Ludovic Caron
3rd AC Cobra race number 203 Lynn Kivochlan
4th Jaguar light weight race number 214 Leriche/Payen
the red jag seen above fighting with the AC Cobra
and first Porsche the blue 904 race number 211 of Jean Marc Bussolini and his wife

Another interesting story
Guy Frequelin former French rallye pilot who won the 1983 Tour Auto with an Opel Ascona 400 and was from 2001 to 2007 the Citroen race dept Director (the one who made Sebastien Loeb known) did enter the 1976 Tour Auto with a Porsche RSR
40 years after Guy Frequelin had the idea to enter this year tour Auto with this same car
