To complete this topic, something new : a meeting not yet completed and not in France but in Switzerland
Three years ago the city of Sion in Switzerland had the idea to organize a meeting different from everything already in existence :
The VW Porsche Classic Sion with the following idea no ostracism
Are invited
All VW before 1968
All Porsche before 1974
Outlaws and replica (if identified as so) are also welcome
The success was immediate and the 3rd edition of this meeting will take place September 13th/14th

Why such a so large and quick success?
Sion is ideally located in the Swiss Valais along the Rhone river at a close distance from France, Italy, Austria and Germany

The idea to open the meeting to old VW has considerably help to regenerate the participants age

Furthermore the weather was perfect for the first edition of this meeting in 2012 which has helped to beat all records for the 2nd edition in 2013

but the success has not decreased and the 3rd edition will again beat all records which has forced the organizers to decide that this meeting will only be held once every 2 years
