The G,H, I competition groups saw the victory of 2 off Porsche 911 3.0 RSR



Indeed the 4 first cars of this groups achieve a better time than the VHC group winner
1H 55 mn 05 seconds for the Lotus Elan
1H 48 mn 53 seconds for the first 3.0 RSR
and 1 H 49 mn 33 seconds for 3.0 RSR

The Regularity rallye was won by the french CG Simca

The first Porsche in the regularity was obtain by this 914/6 whith a 9th overall

Next week end Saturday June 16/Sunday June 17th will be raced the 86th edition of the Le Mans 24 hours race
This week program is as folows :
Sunday June 10/Monday June 11th : registration and technical control in the center of the Le Mans city exactly where it was 40 years ago



Wednesday June 13th : track open for practice
Thursday June 14th : qualifying session to determine the start order

Saturday June 16th 3 PM : race start after a lap behind a pace car (the famous Le Mans start no longer exist since 1970)
Sunday Juned 17th : 3 PM end of the race
For this year following the Porsche decision to no longer attend with their hybrid prototypes, leaving Toyota alone in the upper class LMP1
the organising club (ACO which mean automobile club de l'Ouest) have decided in fonction of the trial times, to penalise Toyota in order to reequilibrate with the LMP2 cars
The penalisation for Toyota will be extra pit stops

The great attraction this year will be Fernando Alonso (actual Mac Laren formula one pilot) at the wheel of a Toyota

Jenson Button 2009 world formula 1 Champion, will also attend the race on a Dallara SMP race car (a non hybrid car which could benefit from the possible Toyota penalty)
