  • Hello Everyone,

Steve Heinrichs has asked me to let you know that we will change the one 904 race listed for Skip Scott. While we were researching the other 904 questions from Mr. Le Friant, we reviewed Skip Scott's race results at 19-20 September 1964 Bridgehampton. We will change Chassis Nr. 904-013 to 904-012 and change red font to black. This car was entered by Steve Berg who owned 904-012.

    Regards, Vietta

    • Hi Vietta/Steve,

Just wondering if you have noted the car numbers of the race results I previously posted?

          • On P647 at the Cuba GP, #30 is a Porsche RSK and #38 is a Porsche 356 Carrera. Lucien Bonnet's full name is Jean Lucien Bonnet, Joakim Bonnier's correct name is Joaquim Bonnier

            • Joakim Bonnier is the correct name for "JO" as he called himself in english
and in Swedish you would say "Jocke"

It is a typical spelling in Swedish and he is family with the Bonnier publishing company
Some of his names of teams he used, Jo Bonnier, Anglo-Suisse Racing Team, Joakim Bonnier Racing Team and Ecurie Bonnier

                • Hello Everyone,

Steve Heinrichs has asked me to respond to Andrew's comments about 1960 GP Libertad, Cuba. #26213

                  1. Pilot Lucien Bonnet with Start nr. 30. We believe the entry list is incorrect. At the website Auto Diva, we found one photo of 1960 GP Cuba which shows start nr. 30. We believe this is the Bonnet car and it seems to be a 550A. We believe Bonnet's car is 550A-0142 (listed in red font).

                  2. We agree that Lucien Bonnet should be listed as Jean Lucien Bonnet and have added that correction to the Errata list.

                  3. We will continue to look for a photo of the Bino Heins car (start nr. 3at this race.

                  4. In the case of names, we have tried to use the name and spelling that the pilots themselves used or the spelling noted in primary sources where they exist.

I agree - #30 does look like a 550A. Here is the entry list I have

                    • Hello Everyone,

Steve Heinrichs has asked me to respond to Andrew's new information about Jim Harbour with 550-0059! #26244

We list no races for Jim Harbour in the book, but have found one race at 1957 Courtland since the book was published. We now know that the pilot listed on page 596 (1 November 1957 Gainesville, two races) as Mea Habour was spelled incorrectly in our primary source information. Her correct name is Mae Harbour.

We will make the following changes to the database and the Errata Sheet.

                      1. 1 November 1957, Gainesville. Replace Mea Habour with Mae Harbour (2 races)

                      2. Then, at the same race replace Mae Harbour's chassis Nr. 550-0054 with 550-0059. (You may recall that we had previously listed Harbour's car in the Errata Sheet as 550-0068 in red font, the Mike Marshall car). We do not have sufficient evidence to change the Mike Marshall car to 550-0059 at this point.

                      • 550-0059 was never raced before Jim Harbour owned it

Mae was Jim's wife and raced the 550 at the same events as Jim. This is Jim at the the 57 Courtland race
