For those interested by the APAL Porche race car this car driven by Pierre Bonvoisin won the 1964 Huy 12 hours race and the 1964 La Roche hill climb
This car also took part into the 1964 Liege Rome Liege and was one of the 28 cars out of the 97 starting cars to finish
Another question where is this car to day ?

This pic represent Alexandre Gacon (right with hair) and team mate Henri Alcan at the start of the 1955 Lyon Charbonieres rallye
Alexandre Gacon, an Auguste Veuillet friend, was running a Porsche agency in Lyon
This car is the only one from the 6 off 550 bought by Auguste Veuillet to be still in France to day
Alexandre Gacon was a gentleman driver pilot who never became famous except for this famous pic of the 1955 Liege Rome Liege race when he shared a 550 with Claude Storez

Now remain this one shot race car built in 1963 starting from an ex ecurie nationale Belge 550
Normallty when new this car had a Fuhrmann 4 cams engine
Was it still the case nearly 10 years later ?

I'm not sure if a question remains but 550-0082 was the basis for the Apal car. Later, it was a frame only and may well now have been rebodied.

I have read a lot about 550-0082 being rebodied into the Apal. There is a spyder still claiming to be 0082 - who knows these days!

I see it as several other 550s---original chassis that has been re-bodied.

I am going to skip 550-05 in the spyder list along with 550-07 due to not starting another debate of which car is which...

So, today is 550-06
