Great photos once again you guys!! Steve, If a Spyder were to be originally ordered with a speedster windshield frame I have to believe that it had to have been narrowed to fit. A Speedster WS frame fits on a Beck replica perfectly because Chuck subtly changed the body dimension here and there for copyright purposes and his cars are a few inches wider than an original. I have heard it said that speedster WS frame is a couple of inches too wide to fit a real Spyder correctly. Andrew have you heard of this? Thanks again guys! Justin
550 full windshield frames were aluminum and narrower than the Speedster frame. Somewhere I have some pics of Bob Baker`s 0034 when it first arrived from France to Omaha in the mid 1980s. It was fitted with the full width frame. Bob`s car is an incredibly original 550, my all-time fav 550. I`ll dig the pics out and post later.

Perhaps the description of it is more that of a Speedster type or style windshield frame, as although being narrower, it does share a similar appearance - and actually looks pretty good.
