                            • I know Steve has done a lot of research on Annie Bousquet and the cars she raced, mainly 550-07 which was rebodied using the frame of 550-0043. I recently got an email from a guy writing a book on Drogo's Carrozzeria Sports Cars who believes that Drogo rebodied Annie's Spyder into this.

Supposedly Ludwig Blendl bought the wreck of Annie's car and restored it, but on its first race it burned to the ground (the only listing of Ludwig with a Spyder is at Aspern in 1957). According to Steve, the frame and a few steel parts left went on Rolly Resos' spare chassis Speedster.

In his research, he has been told the car wreck of Annie's (whether it was after Annie's accident or after Blendl's accident) ended up in Switzerland to be bought by Pierre de Siebenthal, who had it converted by Drogo. This could only be if the chassis did not go directly to Resos, but first to de Siebenthal who then later passed it on to Resos or to someone else before it got to Resos.

Can anyone shed any light on what could have happened to the wreck?

                              • Really interesting old legend Andrew; thanks for sharing it! Maybe Steve has some confirmation.
