  • On the first raw on the left Petermax Muller special on the right Kurt Kuhnke VLK (Volstromlinusinen Leichtbau Konstruction)
On the second raw another special that I cannot identify
In the foreground a 328 BMW (a car built before the 2nd WW but still extensively used in local races up to the middle of the 50's
After having won several raczs the VLK slowly lost the advantage

          • Now to go back to your find this car is powered by a Porsche engine and not by a VW engine as identify by the square shape of the exhaust outlets

Interesting to look at the exhaust pipes : the front pipe are of a smaller diameter than the back pipe no doubt a way to compensate the longer length of the back pipe
But no idea of the builder

It was not Peter Max Muller whose car is well known

Only left with a mystery Richard Trenkel Porsche

                          • Hi Andrew

Never heard of the above car before
Did some search and found the following

Mathieu Hezemans (1915/1985) father was running a garage in Eindhoven in the Nederlands
In the early 50's Mathieu built for himself a spezial sport car based on a VW bug chassis powered by a Porsche 1.5 stock engine
This car was mainly used for local races on the Zandwoort race track

Racing Sport cars for Mathieu Hezemans include only one race for his Spezial the 1953 August 2nd Eifelrennen on the Nurburgring
