and became an active estate broker
Mathieu 's son Antoine was also a reknown Dutch sportcars pilot who won nthe 1971 Targa Florio with Nino Vacarella

and Mathieu grand son Mike was also a pilot now sharing his time between Holland and the US

Andrew when trying to found info on Mathieu Hezemans racing at Zandwoort found the below pics

The first car is a BMW Veritas any idea of what is the second car ?

As far as above Vance pic, this was taken in August 1953 during the Schauinsland hill climb
Hans Stanek was at the wheel and finish 7th overall

To comeback on the Glockler number 4 this was ordered to Glockler by Hans Stanek the, at the time Director of AMAG Porsche and VW importator for Switzerland
This car was presented at the 1953 Geneva Carshow

Originally the Glockler 4 was painted in the Swiss colors (red with white bonnet) as this 550 spyder






He raced this car in 1953 and 1954 including the 1953 Swiss GP

and the Mittelholz-Kandersteg hill climb

After verification I find that the Glockler number 4 did really enter the 1954 Hyeres 12 hours race with race number 32 as on the pic but the car was driven by Richard von Frankenberg team with Walter Riggenberg
Apparently Hans Stanek did not race it in 1954 although the car still wear the Swiss plate
The Glockler 4 desappeared for several years but was found back by the Glockler family who still owe to day the Frankfurt Porsche center where this car now painted in metalized grey sits in the show room
