The photo of the lady picking up the golfer above reminds me that the poor sob will have to sit with his golf clubs in between his legs since there is no other place besides the passenger seat that will hold a set of clubs--I speak from many years experience carting golf clubs in a 356.

I can't remember exactly how he did it nor who it was (it's been a while) but a guy in the Central Coast 356 Club had a mount for his clubs. I'm guessing he fabricated something to mount on the engine lid.

I've put surfboards, kayaks and even a tandem bicycle on mine. I do NOT recommend the latter - I went to North/South that way one year when Rosemary and I rode the Solvang Prelude

Last Sunday I was at the North Carolina Museum of Art to see the Porsche By Design-'Seducing Speed' exhibit.
EXCELLENT!
Vic Elford was our guest speaker for the event and I had a chance to have a 'one on one' with him in the morning before things got cooking an he was gracious enough to sign two books from the exhibit for me. One for the guy who restored my Roadster and of course one for me.
When I get a chance I will start a new thread with pics that I took from the show.
BUT for the time being here are just a few.

My car photographed in 1960 in Northhampton. We located the exact spot by Google street view in about 2011. ( 51 years later ) The second photo I attach is the view now altered in 2011. The whitish gate on the far right of the picture is still there as is the church but walls have been changed and trees have grown bigger. There was no identification on the photo apart from 1960. The 2nd owner was a nice guy he gave me much info on my car in the 70's and sent me this photo.

We even managed to locate his house! All down to work by the DDK guys and the forum. I hope someday to go back and photo WYL 8 in the same spot!
