Like your photo of the two 356s in front of the Aussie F-86 and the Dehavilland Vampire. Had not seen that one before.

      • A small observation, but that F-86 has only one gun port. I thought they had three on each side.

        • Hey Bob Foreman,
          Good eyes!
The North American F-86 does have 3 cannons per side.
The F-86 was built under license in Canada and Austrlia also.
The Aussie planes had only one cannon per side plus sidewinders.

          Check this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_F-86_Sabre

There is a pic of the Aussie F-86 on this site.

            • The dark coupe to the right of the white cab appears to have an exceptionally large sun roof.

                  • Hey Roy,
                    It is looking crowded!
I'm just back from a junket in the Roadster after doing leaves-I should not have done them-the wind came up and it lools like I never touched them.
I had to do almost 75-80 mph just not to get run over and I wasn't even on one of the Interstate highways!
It got to about 70 around here but I left the top up. Just getting over a cold and I didn't want to get something worse!
                    Cheers,
                    Dick

                    • Dick,
Don't tell me about leaves! I have a protected Beech tree in the back garden and one house away a pocket wood with about 30 trees. We had it so windy I had the beech and all the other tree's leaves deposited on my grass. Bag after bag of them

                      Roy

Don't complain about trees until you see my yard! Must have a thousand trees.

                          • I purchased the original picture of the speedster pic and her dog 5-years ago. The son of the lady in the picture contacted me last year and shared a few more pictures of that speedster. He had great memories of growing up in that speedster. He said that is dad rigged up a garden hose from the floor vents to the dash so he could drive it. Early Pre A Speedsters did not have dash vents they were added mid way through 55 production.

                            • Yeah Pat,
BUT they are not on the ground yet!
I have a tree guy coming this week to take out two that are 'listing' to port!
                              :>))
