Thanks, Justin. Yes, I almost, almost bought that car in 1966 when I was 17, but got spooked about insurance and potential repair costs. Found it interesting when I found those old pics a few years ago when cleaning out my storage, self developed and enlarged. Clearly I thought pretty highly of the car at the time! I'll post in the new member section a little more. Glad I found this site!

I can understand that decision being just a kid and all. Back then no one really knew what it was other than a "glorified Volkswagen".

I'm sure you had family and friends in your ear saying "are you crazy"!? Get a GTO or a Mustang! Yes, please introduce yourself and tell us how you got started on Porsche's after this black cab you passed on. Thanks again for the neat pics! Justin

Anyone know what the white car is? It looks like a Porsche like dash, but appears to have an air scoop on the front. This is Bridgett Bardot in the dark car and husband Rodger Vadim in the white car.
