By luck I will be in Paris for the start (I an still voting in Paris and Sunday 23 rd is the first day of vote for the election of the next France President)
Monday 24th I will attend the administrative and technical dayn under the Grand Palais glass dome and be able to take pics for you
Thursday April 27th I plan to see the Tour Auto racing on the Le Vigean Val de Vienne race track and then folloow them to Limoges where they will spend the night
This year amongst the 250 + cars entered 36 Porsches
11 off in the regularituy category including a 550 spyder and a 356A GT Carrera 57 and 3 911 2.7 RS
25 off in the competition category a 1963 904 GTS + 2 off only 356,6 off 911 2.0 66/67, 5 off 1974 3.0 RSR and 4 off 2.3 ST 71
As promised I have had the luck to attended yesterday Monday April 24th to the administrative and technical registration of the 243 off cars who hac=ve started very early this morning the 26th edition of the Historical Tour Auto
The competitors had 4 hours Sunday 23rd April afternoon to enter their cars under the glass dome of the Grand Palais

the sppedometer has been taken off its normal place in front of the driver to be installed in front of the co pilot in charge to calculate the correct average speed

Interesting to note that the owner was working on his car with the original tool kit

On the contyrary of most of the present cars who have been entirely restaured, this car is still original
I don't know if the numerous mosquitos crashed on its front face explain that this car has come by the road from Germany or has travelled without protection on an open trailer
