Guy Ligier start in the 70's when he retire from his formula 1 pilot career to built sporty cars based on the Citroen Maserati SM car
2 off these cars were studied to race
one with a Maserati formula 1 V8 engine (the standard car use a V6) another one with the Ford Cosworth 10 cylinders formula 1 engine
These 2 cars raced the Le Mans 24 hours race with the herewith results

My post will be short as to day's journey include 2 special stages during this coming night
This morning short journey from Marseille to Cannes 250 kilometers with a special stage and a race on the Paul Ricard race track


From 8 PM (our time) to night 2 new stages also used by the Monte Carlo rallye
Final result will be known to morrow morining

At the time I post (8 PM) the cars leave Cannes for a last loop of 160 kilometers with 2 difficult special stages also used by the Monte Carlo rallye
Cars will be back late to night with the final results known to morrow

As I said several times although most of the cars participating to the Tour Auto are very valuable, their pilots do not hesitate to push them hard
