      Now back to the race
The start are done with cars stopped on one side of the track and the pilots running from the other side as it was the case for the real Le Mans race until 1970

The race it self is spread on 24 hours as the real race as follows
            Saturday 3PM each grid race 40 minutes ie 6 x 40 = 2H40 of racing
Saturday night from say 9 PM to 3 AM Sunday morning 6 more 40 minutes races
Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM 6 more races

The overall winners by grid is the car who has achieved the best performance during the total of the 3 races

To be contined tomorrow for me as it is already very late

The 1954 356 No 14 in the picture is owned by John Ruston is very quick. It was the quickest 356 at Spa last year and I think this one is actually prepared by Pace Products. As Gareth Burnett, from Pace, was driving it when according to John another car got in the way.
