On the contrary of Retromobile, major constructors at the exception of the French ones Renault, Citroen, Peugeot do not have a stand

Therefore Porsche is not a major player as most of the classic Porsches are too expensives to interest the aver
You even find a company who remanufacture the Citroen Mehari a holyday car
still very popular on the coast and whose price for originals is constently increasing (over 15.000 USD)

A total of 350 competitors starting from 6 European cities
Oslo
Glasgow
Bad Hombourg
Barcelona
Monaco
and Reims
have started this morning from Glasgow and Oslo to cover the respectively 1987 kilometers and 1511 Km to the Bourgoin Jallieu (a small city in between Lyon and Grenoble) meeting point
The start from the 4 remaining starting cities with distance to cover running from 1150 Km for Barcelona to 801 Km for Reims, will be given to morrow morning
All the cars are expected in Bourgoin Jallieu Saturday Feb 3rd with then a full day of race to join Valence for 2 days of racing in the small country and mountain roads around Valence and then expected in Monaco Tuesday Feb 6th with a last night session in the Alps above Monaco
The concentration routes from Oslo, Glasgow, Barcelona, Bad Hombourg, Reims and Monte Carlo toward Valence were covered without any difficulties on wet roads but no snow
Yesterday were raced the first six special stages again on wet roads but witout snow
Completely different to day's 4 special stages who had been raced on very icy and snowy roads
