Two days ago Iclosed this item but I got today some pics from a Porsche 914 France club that I would like to share with you
Amongst the 150.000 + visitors a large number come from England
English fanatics, much more than the french ones,do not hesitate to cover thousands of kilometers with their veteran cars
Below some pics taken in a small village in the country a few kilometers from Le Mans city
Not less than 8 GT 40 (of course recreation not real)
AC Cobra (also recreation)

This gathering which attract over 150 Porsches(mainly modern Porsches but also some nice classics) was organised by the Atlantic Porsche Club
Amongst the interestinng cars one of the very few 356 Carrera GT 2000 taken by the road from Paris (over 1.000 km go and return + the rallye) by its owner a quite famous member of the 356 Club France
I had the opportunity to talk with him and he told me that despite the always increasing value of this car he continue to take it on the road for many events

For those who are not aware this event is open to any cars built up to 1979, providing a similar car had raced in the past the original Monte Carlo rallye.
This year 308 cars entered the rallye
The oldest car is a 1954 TR2 Triumph followed by a French DB (Deutsch Bonnet) coach
Amongst the 308 entered cars, 36 Porsches :
2 off 356 (61 BT 5/62 BT6)
1 off 912
15 off 911 classic (up to 1973)
7 off 911 SC
3 off 930 turbo
3 off 914/6
5 off 924 Turbo including one from the factory Museum driven by Jurgen Barth
