Perhaps someone can explain to me how the Index of Power works for these events? For example this weekend in Grid 2 I noticed that 356s got the top three spots in the Index of Performance. My understanding is that the Index of Performance is designed to help cars with small engines compete against the cars with larger engine. Therefore I don't understood how a 1500cc Lotus can beat all the 356s (which I would but money on are running 1600cc engines) but finished below them in the IoP? I guessing that is the fudge variable that I'm forgetting to include in the IoP?

As you guessed each car has its own coefficient
I have not found how this coefficient is calculated but for sure the production year and engine capacity are very important
What I know for sure is that pre A 356 are the favorite car for some one willing to win this classification (cf the Tour Auto indice de performance classification won these 3 past years by a 356 pre A)
