>Somewhere in the distant past, the Board promised to protect our personal information from commercial use. So, they are defending that promise to us.
Dear Roy:
1. Please help save yourself...have the Trustees furnish You (and other Members) the documented "Meeting Minutes" that provide this "Somewhere in the distant past" ??? ..this is a fantasy-fairy dust Promise about protecting your personal information.
>What SH's lawyers and Bill (Rosemary) Sampson are doing is a slight of hand. You have to read SH's second lawsuit against board members to understand what he is after. He wants the mailing list to send out promotional material about his upcoming book. According to him, the current state of affairs is damaging his reputation to sell books.
2. Roy - There is NO slight of hand - Period. The initial requests made by SH to the Registry Trustees NEVER had anything to do with an upcoming Book. Erase that from your concerns and perhaps you will come to some kind of objective thinking and reasoning.
There has been way to long a pompous demeanor by the Registry Trustees to simply trust them - drink their "Kool-Aide" - No records to show and nothing is in writing...but hey, believe THEM - it's ALL good.
Huh - what...?
I commend Mr. David Gensler's clear and concise comments at the 356 Registry Talk site. Members there should read (more than once) his unbiased discussion to these important current and costly issues.
