Capricon offered me one and I had the choice of the 80 or 82. Capricon can do just about anything they want to do and they don't seem to care about the ROI. Unlike some items rebuilding a roller crank does not restore it to new they were meant to be serviceable to extend the life. I believe that rather than bandaid the few existing cranks we produce a new 1 piece crank that is a throw away at end of life since the cost of a new crank could be comparable to the cost of servicing the present ones and much less expensive than remaking them when they won't ever need servicing anyway.
