        Hello Everyone,

Steve Heinrichs has asked me to post information about the Abarth 356B Carrera GTL above.

We believe it is chassis nr. 1007. Check out this link to Ultimate Car Page to see that a photo which identifies the white car as 1007 at 2013 Spa Classic has the same license nr. RA S2 64. It was originally silver and we believe it stayed in Europe.

Here is a second link that identifies the chassis nr. as 1007. Ultimate Car Page

        Regards, Vietta

              Hi guys,

1012 was originally silver and remains in the U.S. unless sold recently.

                For Steve and Mustang 66
When I saw this blue Abarth on the Fiskens stand I thought it was 1009 the Ruiz Picasso car

I ask confirmation from one of the Fiskens salesman on the stand and was told it was 1012 very recently bought in the US by a famous French cook (name ?) and just repainted French blue
This salesman also told me that this car was not for sale but reasonnable offers will be considered

OK folks.... the Fiskens car seems to be a replica and not a real one !

                    Just check the pics http://www.autodiva.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=990&start=640

                            • Last point in nfavor of this car being a fake, is that this car was painted and decorated as 1002 the Sonauto car at the 1961 Le Mans 24 Hours driven by Robert Buchet and Pierre Monneret
                              This car was DNF

                              • For the small history interesting to note that Robert Buchet was driving his personnal car 1002, car he destroyed a year later on that same race track during the 1962 Tour Auto
Pierre Monneret (a former famous motorbyke pilot) was the first owner of 1009 the car that belong to day to Claude Ruiz Picasso (another French blue abarth)

another pic of 1002 at the 1961 Le Mans race

                                A scale model of 1002
Interesting the exhaust similar to the Fiskens car and also the catadiopres under the behives lights
