I think the second 17387 photo is of a spare built at the end by Wendler (the last of an order of 15 chassis) as a prototype GTL coupe (SW

in 4-61. We note it as not built by Porsche in the book.

Still-----VERY cool. Note that no motor etc. seems in car as it sits high.

Bought my 63 and 66 VW from Art Bunker in Kansas City. Saw one of his spiders for sale on a used car lot for $2500 in 66--can you imagine!
