Racing Sports Cars is wrong. It is a great site but not always correct. 550-07 was configured this way after the buckle was cutoff. This is 550-07.

550-05 was in Brazil from 1954-1956.

It is complicated but one must account for all the races as well as photos.

If I am right 550 01 and 550 02 raced Le Mans in June 1953 in the same configuration

Who decided to revert back 550 01 into a spyder and why ?
Was 550 02 also reverted to a spyder ?

550-01 and 02 had removable tops. They went back and forth.
