Looks like you're ready to start cuttin'. I see a little development time invested there shrinking and stretching that lower flange run for your body bumper conversion. Thanks for the update.

It looks doable though it might now be 100% factory when completed it would look great. Maybe someone can post pictures of the inner workings of those areas.

Nice start Florian. A lot of old crash damage to cut past it seems. The floors strike me as being original, Are they??
                  Keep up the great progress!

                      Florian,

I just found your build. Nice set up! That's a great project you've got going.

You started quite a firestorm over on the R regarding stamping the chassis numbers. Geez!!! I bet you're glad you're posting your build over here

                      Cheers,

                      John

                        hi John

yes quite a firestorm. yah my build is on the 356 forum as well but yah there are some interesting people on it.. and yes they have a very strong point.. vin No: should not be messed with witch I agree on. but when its bean cut out? and replaced with a 58 and a dash and roof clip.. maybe do the best you can for the car.. as long as you get permission from Porsche after showing them all the evidence and not hiding the fact in the records of the car.

the car is in really good condition some light rust.. rust in the back of the engine bay.. under the tank and a little bottom of the doors.

the vin problem ill keep to the last job see if i fined more clauses to make it 100%
