              Hi Jay,

I am second in line for fronts after Bart.

I would be interested in Rears please.
Also any 58 front or rear US Spec bumperettes.

              wishing you a speedy recovery.

              thanks
              Colin

                Hi Jay

                This would be great.
Keep me informed if you have a front set (don't need a rear set)

I also wish you a speedy recovery

                    Hello Jay

Did you already had a chance to check for the front supports?

                          Hi Bart
Sorry to highjack your thread but I thought I would try and get some dimensions from the group so that I can have a go at producing a couple of pairs of 58/59 short front support tubes as there still seems to be no one making reproductions.

So please can anyone who has access to original (or for that matter repro) support tubes either early or late get your tape measures out and give me dimensions from the tip to the lowest part of the curved attachment area.
                          Regards
                          Drew

                            Drew

It's been about 50 years since I did an A car, but if my memory is correct the difference originally was Europiean verses American over riders. Americans were higher and in late 58 or so the all went to high style.

I have a pair of those that belong to my car. I'll take a measurement tomorrow. Hope you're feeling better Jay D, thanks for the effort!

The short rears are definitely original but the fronts I'm sure are reproduction. Another thing too that I never noticed is that there is a right and left orientation to them.

I suppose in a pinch I could cut the tip off one, rotate 180 degrees and weld.

These are coming in at 210MM so according to stoddards these are for 1959 high bar version.
