                  • We have the photos above from the 2004 Hamburg Stadtpark Rennen which is driven by the Prototyp boyz (28449)
Then we have photo from the first owner after Otto.... I forgot his name...it is around 1998 ( Fetzenflieger parked outside) ( 28450 )
Next is from the 1999 Ennstal Classic, also with the first owner after Otto.

                    • Thanks Per for your contribution to this topic
If I understand well Prototyp Museum guys did bought the Fetzenflieger some years before the Museum opening (2003 ?)
As I had guess the wheel change was done by the owner in between Otto and Prototyp
Any idea for what reason ?

                      • All Ottos Porsche cars had VW 5 lug as orginal but Otto is a man whom made use of what he had or could get.....

So he made extra holes and got the pattern of the 4 lug instead ( if I recall correct Tatra style)

Oliver & Thomas did get the Feztenflieger years before the Grand opening off Prototyp in 2008.
In your picture from 2004 the Fetzenfliger is already stripped of the original parts that it was built from....the typ 64

                          • The KDF prototyp of the VW had 5 x 130 holes wheels
May be the typ 64 had originally similar wheels

                            • Per you also let understand that the Fetzenflieger on display at the Hambourg Prototyp Museum has little to see with the original Otto 's car
At least is the engine the original one ?
What happened to the typ 64 chassis
Looking at certain pic the Prototyp car has a tubular chassis similar to thye one used on a Beck 550 replica

                              • The bits & pieces got stuck into this one
But the Fetzenflieger looks just like Otto had it.....almost..most people will not know the diffrent
