Thanks Vance
A bit of history around your above last pic
This pic represent the Belgium pilot Paul Nokin a the start of the 1960 Huy 12 Hours race in Belgium
As said by the name the Huy 12 hours race was a 12 Hours non-stop race on open roads with the city of Huy in the French speaking part of Belgium (Wallonie), along the Moselle river in Belgium not far from Liege
The race consisted in 2 loops to cover 6 times as Huy as center which mean the cars could be seen 12 times in Huy
One pilot per car no possibility to share with a co-pilot

Another pic of Paul Nokin during this same 1960 Huy 12 Hours race
Paul Nokin palmares
As you may see this poor 1957 Carrera speedster start to look a bit tired, not a surpised when nyou will know that Paul Nokin bought it early 1960 from another Belgium pilot Guy Sander
If you go back page 103 of this topic you will see hat I already talk of Guy Sander who is still remembered in Belgium as the first pilot to have won a famous race (the 1957 Huy 12 hours) at the age of 19 years old at the wheel of that same speedster

Guy Sander (with his father Willy Sander) also raced this speedster ino the Tour de Belgique
Two interesting things to note
When he was belonging to Guy Sander this speedster wear the Sander family plate number 280E8
In Belgium car plates number belong to the owner who is allowed to transfer the same plate number to another car
Plate changed into 642N3 when he was raced by Paul Nokin
Note also that Guy Sander extra fog-lights were fixed on amovible steel supports when Paul Nokin did not hesitate to drill two big holes in the speedster front for these same fog lights

Hi Vance
Interesting above pic representing the Swiss team Schild/Calderari a the 1953 Monte Carlo Rallye that they finish at a steady 224th place
Interesting as we already discuss of this car in this topic page 91/92 items 37731/37737 and 38 after another pic of that same car but with different pilots during that same Monte Carlo RA

In 1952 that car with funny and huggly beams
belong to Paul van der Kass from Belgium teaming with at that time the very young Jacques Swaters who will some years after become one of the founder of the "Ecurie Nationale" team and also a Ferrari fanatic to such an extend that he will become sole Ferrari distributor for Belgium
Apparently after the 1952 Monte Carlo Rallye, this car was sold to the Swiss team from Zurich who enter it again in 1953
