"I think you need to get Bill to send you out one of his "pink Inimical's". You'll be so easy to spot at any event no matter how many attend! "

Justin, I would have worn one of those pink shirts in any bar, anywhere, when I was younger, but..........I've stopped drinking.
It would necessitate explaining the meaning of the word, you know, pulling out the Registry by-laws for an example in context......(wait, doesn't everybody carry the by-laws around with them?)

Plus, it would likely clash with whatever else I'd wear that day.
Plus, I can be "inimical" without a shirt proclaiming so.

Now, in trading T-shirts, I have a "356 Political Outlaw" bulls-eye shirt for one of my BBE T's like Bill modeled in Hawaii and a Jack Staggs black one with a note taped to it that read: "All outa orange in XL Ya git black"

THIS is FUN car club stuff!

I don't wear my remaining 356 Registry T-shirts anymore. They are old, tattered and have shrunk, plus they have oil and paint stains from working in them for many, many years. They just don't 'feel' right now.

Now, if there may be an ABCGT T-shirt available in the future, I'll buy or trade a couple.....

Wow you guys are really off topic here. Where's a moderator when you need one?

Right Mic, We need some serious moderators around here.

Bruce, that T-shirt is in the works for sure! I've been talking with a graphic artist buddy of mine to design something really cool that any guy would be proud to wear out in public. The shirt itself must be quality as well so I am looking at various suppliers. I really like the quality of your shirts BTW. If the garment is cheap and ugly no one will wear it and will quickly become a grease rag so its pointless to cut corners on this item. I'll keep you posted on this little project.

              Justin,

Here's a SERIOUS suggestion: put a BREAST POCKET on that T-Shirt!

              It is SO useful.

The T-s in my collection with a pocket are the prized ones because I can put my cell phone in there and talk hands-free while I do stuff.

              Just a (serious!) suggestion!

Since our moderator (Mic thanks!) has not locked this thread due to off-topicality, I will agree with Richard. I find that even in our 'summer' (so difficult to imagine right now from under all this snow) I gravitate to shirts with pockets. A small tablet and pen to note what I will, for sure, forget. I like work pants with side pockets for my cell phone. This is practicality, not 'style.'
The shirts I did have the company's name on them as copyrighted by Excel Sportswear. A Google of them may be worthwhile. I believe the guy who heads the company is a Porsche guy, too, or his salesman who came to my shop is....or both. Anyway, they knew a lot about them and knew a lot about what someone can 'get away with' using Porsche-based images. (Many of us have gotten love-letters from legal-types representing Porsche, haven't we?)

Now, back to the topic's subject; let us all who frequent here guide others here. Without the latest introductory sub-thread, we may not have devolved into breast...... (pockets).

Thanks for the input Richard and Bruce! Okay, will definitely include a run with a breast pocket and will checkout Excel sportswear. Thanks again! Justin

Those two cars are beautiful. I especially like the wide whites on the A. They look like they are in excellent condition. How long have you owned them? Did you restore them?

PS. The A pic looks very old. When was it taken?

The picture of the A is 1958. The picture of the SC was taken at Bluff, New Zealand the furthest point from Stuttgart on the planet. The SC is original never restored. The A is being restored now.

I was at the Philadelphia Zoo yesterday. I noticed an exhibition of "Junque Rethunk" and saw these polar bears made from used spark plugs.
