Troy, Glad to see you got on board, I think you will find the a really cool forum. As far as the engine you built for my Speedster it is reallt running smooth and sweet. I got 1200 miles on it now and she pulls strong and has not had any problems great oil pressure and runs really cool with stock oil cooler. I couldn't be happier with the performance and the smoothness. Thanks again for a great engine. Take Care talk to you later just wanted to welcome you to the forum and let you and others know how nice your engine turned out and is doing. George

Justin, When something is right and good it needs to be known by all. That is what is going to keep this forum growing and are cars on the road. I believe that this type of forum and group of people is what is going to get young people involved with the 356 cars and there replic's, So with that said you don't owe me a beer just keep this forum going and thanks for all the work you put into it. Justin,
You know that I am a like a dog with 2 tails when things are not quite right with the computer. You know I had the problem of the error message: Kunena: 'MooTools domready event was never fired' when using your forum. Well, I found on 'google' a lot of info on that and the fact its best to have the latest software on the PC to avoid that message. I operate with windows XP and my service provider is AOL. I had some issues with sites requesting I update my browser. I did this but found that it worked better on 'Internet explorer'
So, still having the error message above I perservered with AOL and by shrinking the message etc it helped but.. the photos were still cropped on the r/side of my screen.
Today, I logged on Internet Explorer to gain access to the forum and although I still get the message its transformed the viewing of all the threads!!! Its a bit like getting 'leading work ' on the body perfect!
Also, the top header with the smileys is in the correct place which did not happen before as I told you.
I am now going to attach a photo to prove all this from my documents
I hope it works well. You have a great froum here, its open, its full of good information I enjoy it very much indeed. Thanks so much.
Wish I had a lift in my garage

Hi Roy, The best news I've heard all morning Roy! I am so glad that you finally got this site to display and work correctly on your computer! I know how annoying it must have been at times. I am sure these posts may help some one else having similar technical issues. Great news, I am so pleased to read that you are still enjoying it here! Your great participation certainly plays a role!
Thanks again! Justin

Been getting the "kunena: mootools dom ready event was never fired" when we visit Porsche abc GT Forum. I did some exploring on the web about the problem and found a page with some detail on the problem. Link is here http://www.kunena.org/docs/Common_causes_of_Mootools_(Javascript_library)_iss ues_and_Kunena
Some of the reasons for this error message can be: conflict between old and upgraded version of Kunena (web site program), plug-in and java script errors (most likley conflict between old and upgraded version).
Bruce asked me to investigate this error message that keep popping up. I may be able to help solve this problem but it would require me to have access to your web site.

Hello to all,
My name is Frank Regos and live in Lee's Summit, MO (near Kansas City)
I have like aircooled VW's and the 356 Porsche for as long as I can remember. Always messed with VW's but finally got a 356 here recently. Not known for big smiles but look at me when I was picking up my 57' body from Rusty Tubs...

Thanks for the welcome. My name is Erik Hoseid. I began my affair with Porsche in 1973 at the age of 14. The first 356 I ever saw was a 58 Speedster that belonged to a friend of my Dad. Dad bought it from him on March 29, 1976 and it has been mine since my father's untimely death in 1985. I like all Porsches but I love the A cars. I really like the outlaw look. Gary Emory and Gary Kempton persuaded me to do what I liked so I added 912 power, C discs and Full polish Fuchs. I will post some pics soon. Concours is cool but it's not my bag. I have probably read all the threads and I like what I see and am looking forward to more. Thanks again, Erik

Hey Erik,
Thank you for posting and Welcome to our new forum! Your car is a part of your family history just like my old coupe is. Your Speedster sounds very cool, I lean more toward modified cars myself and find stock original too boring to leave alone. I have always liked the look of polished fuchs on a 356. Really looking forward to some photos and your input here. Welcome once again! JustinJustin Rio

Hi all
I am here on the advice of MMW on the 356 registry site.
I own a 1964 euro Irish green/blue leather cabriolet #159111.
I have the COA that the combo is as delivered.
Anyone else with this factory combo?
I have owned this car since 1978.It was white for 35 years until SH confirmed my COA ,and it went into total restoraration last winter.
Wish I knew how to make an avatar so I could post the results.
