PARIS RETROMOBILE CARSHOW 2015

The 40th edition of the Paris Retromobile carshow will open to the public tomorrow Wednesday February 4th
I have had the oportunity to visit this show today last day of the car preparation with a minimum of people around the cars
The following pics were taken with mu iphone so sorry for the quality

3 major sales will hapen during thiis carshow
RM auctions will open tomorrow with a sale in the Invalides
Bonhams will continue Thursday with a their annual sale from the Grand Palais
The French auctioners Art Curial will close these sales Saturday 6th directly from the carshow with 2 sales :
Exceptionnal cars including a collection of over 15 off Bugatti's
Baillon collection (80 cars who have been left over 30 years under precarous protection ) all cars to be sold without reserve except 2 exceptionnal cars : a Ferrari daytona spyder and a Maserati)

This year guest star was the Ford Mustang for their 50th anniversary but Porsche was present in large numbers on many French and Foreign brokers stands

Due to the poor pics quality I have a problem to post them in order
Therefore I will contiue to display in order I took them
Outside the Porsche world I have been impressed by the quantity and the quality of the around 20 off 300SL Mercededes Benz with 2 German brokers exclusively dedicated to these cars
The Mulhouse ex-Schlumpf brother Bugatti museum has send its 3 Bugatti Royale for display (7 Royale only have been built)
Also to be noted a majot US Cobra specialist with Cobra's and Ford GT 40

Back to the Paris Retromobile car show today for the official opening to visitors
I have taken my lunch break to take the opportunity to visit the Baillon collection of barn finds
Amongst the 80 cars the only one of iterest for us :
