35th edition of the LA LIT & Meet display

This year for the first time some Porsche shops have etended their opening to the Monday
Good idea at it is absolutely impossible to visit all the shops in 3 days
Monday March 5th we started by a visit to Russ Rodrigues Fibersteel shop as we had some parts to collect and take back to France
Russ Rodrigues was at the Sunday March 4th Anaheim So Cal all Porsches swap and display with its own car + another one from a customer












and with some example of the parts they produce to improve the look of 550 spyder replicas

First good surprise when we arrive at Russ shop
His personnal Beck replica was parked in the street in front of the entrance

Obviously he drive his car back home after the Sunday's meeting and then to the office next morning
Inside always interesting things to see :
A Continental cabriolet replica, unfortunately with a Subaru engine, being prepared

From Fibersteel we went to Sierra Madre new premises a shop we did not had the time to visit for its Thursday open house, always to collect parts ordered from France

Last visit of Monday March 5th Performance Vintage International

A very intersting place, partner of the Porsche week for the first time this year
Their specialty is preparation of your car to your specification
As an example this green 911 had been restored to new from chassis and then painted to look as patina

Strange idea to my opinion, but according to the Performance Vintage boss who had been kind enough to took us through his plant even if it was a normal working day, this request is very popular in the US

Another interesting car with still some work to do on it was the 911 SC Martini tribute to the 3 race cars entered by Porsche KG into the 1978 East Safari Rallye present on Sunday at the Anaheim display

The next day was reserved for shoping and tourism but we had finally the time to visit the Petersen Museum who had taken the opportunity of the Porsche week to organise a special exposition of exceptionnal Porsche
