35th edition of the LA LIT & Meet display

As every year always a lot of exceptionnal original parts all over the place but one of my good friend who is very fond of collecting rare parts told me that he had the impression that this year he had not seen so much cash as usual floating around
As for the cars is it a new tendancy or simply also because rarities tend to diminish

A vey optimistic buyer wanting to buy Denzel, Rometsch and Hebmuller

After 3 hours in the Hilton Lax we moved toward Carparc a small restauration shop dedicated to early 911 only
The majority of the cars displayed are work in progress for dedicated customers
A lot to admire, very few to buy

One of the star at Carparc was this very early 911 on which they work to built a tribute car to the first ever 911 that Porsche enter in the 1965 Monte Carlo rallye driven by Herbert Linge/Peter Falk and that finish 5th overall






The real car still exist to day and had recently been entirely restaured by Porsche Classic Stuttgart

Car parc visit will be remembered not only for the quality of the cars displayed but also because the food they offer to their visitors was one of the best of the week with strawberries and macaroons as dessert and a live music band to accompany
I have some fiends who arrived very late at the next shop just because they fell good in that placde ans stayed their for hours just eating and hearing the very professionnal lady singer
