35th edition of the LA LIT & Meet display

From March 1st to March 5th I attended with some French fiends the 35th edition of this reknown Porsche afficionados meeting
Even if for myself it was the 5th times I attended this meeting, every year you discover knew marwels

The meeting started Thursday March 1st
As usual there was only 2 possible visits :
California Porsche restoration in Fallbrook (far south)
Sierra Madre Collection warehouse (North)
We decided to do only CPR and reserve Sierra Madre for our spare days after the meeting end

CPR is located in Fallbrook far inside the southern California countryside

This huge restauration unit mainly dedicated to Porsches is split over 2 different locations
A huge exposition hall for cars offered to d=sale + a small restauration unit for very rare cars
The traditionnal work units (metal process, preparation, painting and re assembly) to satisfy dedicated custopers requests

In addition to the usual Porsches CPR are also offering some old VW and Mercedes

In the small workshop a 356 Continental cab at the finish stage of restauration

and several very early 911 in different stages

Back to the sale hall some cars under an open roof
The 2 blue 914 race cars offered to sale 2 years ago are still there but rust start to attack them

The 6 cylinders engine still present
