Small world--I grew up in South KC on the Missouri side. Do you remember Art Bunker VW? Bought my first and second beetles there in 65 sand 66. Graduated from Bishop Hogan in 60.

Hi Pat,
Shawnee Mission North, 62. Lived on Rainbow Blvd. Do remember the
Bunker dealership. Also remember races at Lake Garnett with some really great drivers in attendance.

Do you remember Lockwood VW--one of my buddies was Gary Lockwood. I graduated in 60 from Hogan. Rockhurst and UMKC then the Navy in 67. We used to go water skiing at Lake Garnett. Did you know the name, John Goans (or Goings) --he had a European car dealership in the late 50s. I remember Lance Reventlo and Maston Gregory as hot drivers back then.

Don't recall those names, but remember Masten Gregory as the local KC hotshoe who did well. Stories circulated freely as to his 'driving practice' on the roads around some of the upper end neighborhoods in Johnson County. A real talent.
