'57 356A T1 coupe that was treated to all the custom mods of the 70's
Including a T5 B nose, nerf bars, and an electric 911 sunroof grafted in. Also every bracket, strap and latch was chrome plated.

Custom flares and bodywork had to have been done by an old rod shop as they are all finished completely in lead. You can imagine the added weight.

The 16 inch Fuch's are a recent add on. This car originally had the old 70's style slotted alloy mags.

The louvers and through the hood filler is also a recent addition.

Of course the beehives were replaced with teardrops. Interesting old school hot rod...

                            • Thank you VM!

Does anyone know where I can find a build thread or any more information about this car (in post #16904)? I love the racing mods...

                              • Cowboybob:
That race car is currently up for sale on Ebay. The description claims they are 16X6 with 205-50 series tires. The offset looks a little deep to me and I think they might be 944 turbo version. Here is a mock-up of my car several years ago with 16X6 fuchs up front and 16X7 in the rear. These were all 911 version fuchs.

note the heavy negative backspacing on these front 16x6 fuchs as compared to the ones on the blue coupe. Hope these help. Justin
