A week later Jean was in Rouen for the Rouen 3 Hours Delamare Debouteville cup
This race being a non-championship race, Porsche KG was not involved
Jean rent 550 A 0142 from Auguste Veuillet
As related in this extract of the British Motorsport Magazine he won the race 3 laps ahead of the Graham Hill Lotus
Auguste Veuillet finished 6th overall on the other 550

The above is what I have found to day helped by a French car collector who owed 550 142 in 1972 and raced it in historical races
This is not in accordance with what Steve and most of the results sites as Racing sport cars state ie that Jean raced 718 001
The pics already posted of Jean Behra seated in a 550 were taken in June 1958 and not in 1957
The car registration is a special French registration for Garage owners
The 2nd 550 behind Jean Behra one's is Auguste Veuillet car

This race turned to be very dangerous following a terrible storm who hitted the race track in the evening of Saturday
Many cars slipped off the track and one piuilot was killed
The below pic show Jean Behra/Hans Hermann car in the heavy rain

Once again the small 1.6 L Porsches did very well and finished 3/4 and 5th behing the Olivier Gendebien/Phill Hill 3 L Ferrari and the Aston Martin 3L of the brothers Whitehead
Jean Behra/Hans Hermann car race number 29 were 3rd
Edgar Barth/Paul Frere car race number 31 were 4th
and the Porsche success was completed by the old 550 RS of the Dutch private pilot Carel Godin de Beaufort helped by the official Porsche driver Herbert Linge car race number 32
The below pic of the 3 cars completing together the race is well known
