No rest for Jean Behra, 2 days after he was in the Nederlands for the Zeltweg sport car race

Jean Behra finish 2nd overall, again behind Wolfgang Von Trips
On this pic Jean race number 112 is ahead of Wolfgang Von Trips race number 114

Indeed the gap between Gaisberg and Zoltweg being so short Jean Behra, Wolfgang Von Trips and Edgar Barth kept the same race numbers on thier cars as prroved by this Gaisberg pic of Jean Behra that I just found

August was a very busy month for Jean as the last week end of August 58 he was in Switzerland for the Ollon Villars Hill Climb again as official Porsche pilot

Jean did a terrific first leg, being the first car ever to complete the 8km climb at above 100 km/h average speed
Unfortunately he had technical problems during the 2nd leg which made him finish 11th overall

I have had a very busy last few weeks which prevent me to finish this topic
Here the end of Jean Behra very busy 1958 year driving Porsches

Ollon Villars was the last race for the 1958 European Hill climb championship
Jean Behra despite having not raced the totality of the races finish at an honorable 5th place overall

Two weeks after Ollon Vllars Jean Behra teamed with Edgar Barth for the Goodwood Tourist Trophy (13/09/195
They finished the race 4th overall behind off Aston Martin 3.0 Liter

8 days after the Goodwood TT (Septemner 21st) Jean Behra was at Berlin for the Avus formula 1 Grand Prix
He raced and won the sport cars race held before the formula 1 on a Porsche RSK

Unfortunately I have been unable to find a pic of Jean Behra at this race
This race was the last one in Europe and thanks to this victory Jean Behra won the title of German Sports car Champion
